thewoodlanders: Buddies Frank and Ed hang out before Gemini VII. This looks like it should be part of Pete’s comedy hat photo collection, but actually Frank’s just come back from his after-school job as a pizza chef. They hadn’t made square hats in 1965.

How did I forget this? Ed following his spacewalk, 1965 wire photo, rockin’ the standard issue Navy shower shoes. He was probably the only person who could make them seem classy.
