lightthiscandle: New Nine astronauts during desert survival training, 1963. Starting from the center, I believe I see Ed White, Deke Slayton (who’s hiding his missing finger), John Young, Elliot See, and Jim McDivitt. I love all astronaut survival training photos. Also, John has the best parachute hat.
