lightthiscandle: “Al Chidester explains canyon trip using sand table model to Bryan Adams; and astronauts Tom Stafford, Ed White, and Jim McDivitt in preparation for their geological training trip into the Grand Canyon of Arizona.” Oh man, where to start: 1) I love how the caption writer has to explain that the Grand Canyon is in Arizona, and that Stafford, White, and McDivitt are astronauts; but Bryan Adams needs no introduction. And really, does he? 2) Judging by the expressions, I get the feeling that “sand table models” are not very exciting. 3) I love the “DO NOT TOUCH MAP!” sign. I also love that Ed White is a rule-breaker. White: But can I touch the map? Like this?… Bryan Adams: NO! Or else, IT CUTS LIKE A KNIFE ♪ McDivitt: Woah, what was that? Stafford: ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzhuh?
